Stefan Engblom is a game designer at Supercell and is currently working on the Clash Royale team. He’s involved in all aspects of game design focusing mostly on gameplay balancing, game economy and game system design. He joined the ‘Clash Royale’ team soon after the game’s global launch in early 2016 after playing and providing feedback throughout the game’s early development.
Stefan joined Supercell in 2013 to work on Hay Day and later Boom Beach. Before Supercell, he worked for two years on free-to-play Facebook titles at Digital Chocolate’s Helsinki studio.
An enthusiastic boardgamer, Stefan is one of the founders of the Finnish Boardgame Society. He has organised boardgaming events and clubs, designs boardgames as a hobby and has played in the European Boardgaming Championships.
